MOTORING OFFENCES

Byrne Frodsham & Co offer specialist advice and representation for a wide range of motoring offences including driving with excess alcohol, failing to provide a specimen, speeding, failing to furnish details, careless driving and failing to stop/failing to report.

We have a breadth of knowledge and experience developed from successfully defending motoring cases over many years. We have also helped to shape the law through our involvement in leading appeal cases to the High Court and House of Lords.

That knowledge and experience allows us to analyse a case and where possible identify a defence. Such defences can include relatively simple problems with paperwork, statutory defences, problems with Police procedures and complex scientific challenges to breathalysers and speed measurement devices. Any one of those defences can lead to a client being acquitted.

We enjoy impressive success rates and pride ourselves on achieving positive results for the vast majority of our clients. We act for clients nationwide and act for both individuals and companies.

We also appreciate that many people charged with a motoring offence, particularly a drink driving-related offence, can find the stigma or embarrassment of such an allegation just as damaging as potential loss of their driving licence. As a result of this we will act with discretion throughout your case. We aim to act with the lowest possible profile and now maintain a policy of never discussing our clients’ cases with the media, nor do we publish testimonials on this website.

For further information on some of the types of offences which we defend, including possible penalties, follow the links set out below. Alternatively if you would like immediate advice from a member of our team, either send an email, or telephone our offices on 0151-424-5601.
