Ceri Rees - LLB
Ceri was admitted as a Solicitor in 1971. He took his law degree at Sheffield University and after Articles in private practice worked for a few years in local government. He then returned to private practice as a Partner with Byrne Frodsham & Co in 1974.
Initially Ceri dealt with a wide range of work including crime, matrimonial and personal injury. However because the firm expanded and the need to specialise became paramount, Ceri now concentrates on property law of all kinds including commercial and domestic conveyancing, probate and trust work, together with business and employment law.
He is fully committed to Byrne Frodsham & Co and the provision of a comprehensive and meaningful legal service to the community.
Barry Cashman - BA
Barry came to Byrne Frodsham & Co in January 1978. At first he dealt with a wide range of common law work, personal injury, family, contract and criminal work.
He now does only criminal work, and has developed a particular speciality in road traffic matters where people have been charged with driving whilst having excess alcohol in their system and/or refusing to give samples. He obtains excellent results on behalf of his clients.
Barry's work has involved some very high profile cases in the High Court and the House of Lords. His determination to do his best for his clients is Barry's trademark.
Charles Asbury - BA
Charles joined the firm in 1978 as an Articled Clerk qualifying as a Solicitor in 1980.
He has a wide range of experience in legal work but specialises now in commercial and domestic conveyancing, private and commercial landlord and tenant work, employment law, and general commercial work for small and medium sized firms and companies.
He also deals with Wills, estate planning, probate and matrimonial work.
Caroline Dodd - LLB
Caroline joined Byrne Frodsham & Co in 1993. She graduated from the University of Bristol with her law degree in 1989 and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1992.
Caroline specialises in matrimonial and family work. She is a member of the prestigious Law Society Family Law Panel. She appreciates how traumatic the break-up of family relationships can be and always aims to provide sympathetic practical advice to her clients.
As legal procedures progress her aim is to keep her clients fully informed and to ensure that all matters are dealt with efficiently. Caroline tries to encourage fair settlements in family disputes as she recognises the importance of the clients’ satisfaction with the outcome of their cases.
Peter Howard - FILEX
Peter is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and specialises in personal injury and related litigation. Peter is a very experienced practitioner with 25 years professional experience upon which to draw.
He is a member of the Law Society Personal Injury Panel and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Peter guides his clients in a straightforward way through what can be a very complicated area of law. Clients’ claims are dealt with in an able and efficient manner with many cases being satisfactorily completed within a very short period of time.
Peter can deal with cases under conditional fee arrangements (sometimes referred to as "No win - No fee") in appropriate cases.
